We want our community to pay attention to the Blue
Verified badge.
WLC Approved ExplanationWLC
Approved means that the available information has been reviewed and verified to a reasonable extent, but it does not necessarily mean that every aspect of the project has been thoroughly verified.
The escrow information may be publicly visible, but it can be difficult to track changes when the escrow provider does not follow a proper and consistent process for updating the fund status.
For example, consider
MoBit (https://welivecrypto.com/projects/mobit). The escrow provider is Little Mouse, and the escrow information was posted as a post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5579785.msg66597110#msg66597110) on their announcement (ANN) topic. If the escrow amount changes or the escrow deal is closed, the provider may simply post another update in the same ANN thread. However, forum posts can easily become buried over time, making important updates easy to miss. As a result, a customer may overlook a change and potentially fall into a trap.
Another example is
PriamEx (https://welivecrypto.com/projects/priamex). Its escrow reference is much better structured: any changes to the escrow status can be easily identified in a dedicated escrow topic. However, it is still classified as
Approved, rather than
Verified. This means that, while the escrow information may be well documented, the other information related to the project has not yet been thoroughly verified.
Therefore,
WLC Approved should not be interpreted as a guarantee that all information has been fully verified or that the project is completely safe. It indicates that the available information has undergone a preliminary level of verification, while some aspects may still require further review.

WLC Verified ExplanationWLC
Verified means the status we place the greatest emphasis on. To earn the WLC Blue
Verified badge, a project must meet
two essential conditions designed to maximize user safety:
1. All information is carefully verified. The information provided by the project is thoroughly reviewed and verified, with the goal of ensuring that its accuracy is as close to 100% as reasonably possible.
2. The guaranteed fund (escrow) is easily traceable. The escrow fund must be independently and easily trackable. Customers should be able to check the latest status of the escrow fund through a
dedicated topic maintained by the escrow holder. This minimizes the possibility of outdated or misleading information and gives users a reliable way to confirm the current escrow status.
For example,
GenesisMix.cx (https://welivecrypto.com/projects/genesismixcx) is a WLC
Verified listing because it satisfies both requirements:
- Its escrow has a dedicated topic (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=328464.0) where users can easily check the latest updates and status of the escrow funds.
- All information provided by GenesisMix has been carefully reviewed, checked, and verified by WLC.
The WLC Blue
Verified badge therefore represents the highest level of verification within our system and is intended to provide users with an
exceptional layer of confidence 💯 when taking service from a project.
WLC Verified vs. Ownership VerifiedPlease do not
confuse the WLC Blue Verified badge with the Green Ownership Verified badge. These are two separate verification badges, and
a project can hold both badges at the same time.
WLC Verified focuses primarily on
the overall reliability of the project information and the traceability of its guaranteed funds (escrow). As explained above, a WLC Verified project must meet both requirements:
- Its project information has been very carefully reviewed and verified.
- Its guaranteed fund (escrow) is maintained in a transparent and easily traceable format, allowing users to check the latest status.
Ownership Verified, on the other hand, confirms that the
actual owner of the project has been verified by WeLive Crypto. Ownership verification can also involve improved and verified project information, but it
does not guarantee that the project has a solid or easily traceable escrow structure that meets the WLC Verified standard.
In simple terms:
Ownership Verified = We have verified the project ownership of the person behind the project.
Verified = The project information has been carefully verified and its guaranteed funds (escrow) meet our traceability and transparency requirements.
Future Dispute ResolutionWe also plan to introduce a
dispute resolution system (DRS) on our platform in the future. Under this system,
Ownership Verified projects will be expected to cooperate with WeLive Crypto in resolving disputes involving their projects.
This provides an additional layer of accountability: once a project owner has verified their ownership with us, they will have a direct responsibility to participate in resolving legitimate disputes raised through our platform.
Advertising EligibilityPlease note that
WeLive Crypto also offers advertising opportunities. However, not every listing is eligible to advertise with us.
Only projects with
Verified status are eligible for advertising on the WeLive Crypto platform. This policy is intentional: we want to maximize the visibility of legitimate and trusted projects while protecting our audience from potentially fraudulent or misleading projects.
By giving advertising priority to
Verified projects, we aim to help build a stronger layer of protection within the industry, increase the visibility of legitimate projects, and ultimately contribute to reducing the overall scam rate.
