Well, Like the dollar that has value because a powerful country or government says that they do. When the US government said today that the dollar today was worthless, nobody will accept it anymore.
Bitcoin works in the exact opposite way, it democratized money. It means that no single country or group has control over it. And if ever any government says that they don't like bitcoin, which many have, it doesn't matter.
Because we know that Bitcoin is decentralized and there are thousands of nodes and bitcoin miners all over the world now, securing the network and making sure that anyone, anywhere can trade Bitcoin. Right? So, while traditional currencies are backed by governments, Bitcoin is backed by the people. ;)
FYI: This was my personal opinion in accordance to my understanding about this topic, however you can still check on google search what options
they can give regrading this discussion anyway.
According to investopedia (https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/100314/why-do-bitcoins-have-value.asp)
You trust Bitcoin because you believe there is demand for it. You believe you can exchange it for the things you need—products, services, or whatever else you need in daily life. And you believe holding Bitcoin is worth more than holding your local currency because inflation keeps eating away at its value.
The same basic principle applies to the USD. No currency survives without some level of trust and belief behind it. People use dollars because they believe others will accept them tomorrow, just as they accept them today.
If that trust disappears and the government fails to maintain confidence in the dollar, its value can collapse. At the end of the day, money works because people believe it has value and are willing to accept it in exchange for something else.
Everything you said friend is true and accurate, I agree with the things you mentioned. And certainly we all know that the there is a higher demand on this and we cannot deny it.
Second, it is already proven in terms of long-term and it didn't failed investors who believed in it. That is why as others did is I also doing dca as well on this matter too on bitcoin actually.
From my point of view, the power of Bitcoin lies precisely in its decentralised nature. Decentralisation allows Bitcoin to operate independently of any third party, enabling users to access their own funds directly without needing anyone else. Of course, for optimal use, there needs to be a range of supporting services such as exchanges, DEXs and mixers, but in principle it represents the power of absolute freedom.
