Title: Is better Bitcoin pure adoption or Bitcoin adoption with speculation?
Post by: Italian Panic on Sep 28, 2026, 07:38 AM
In my view of the Bitcoin world the true use of Bitcoin involves having a wallet and directly holding sats without any third parties involved.

I think Bitcoin isn't for everyone; it's not true that anyone can use Bitcoin, some people are very difficoult with seedphrase and passphrase (they lost the facebook password, for example). Bitcoin adoption has potentially reached one of its peaks; the rest is linked to derivative systems that use Bitcoin. For example, buying Bitcoin with ETF, ETN or ETC is not adoption but speculation, and the same applies to the whole system linked to futures and perpetual contracts.

But what is better for the ecosystem? Bitcoin adoption at all costs or adoption with clever and smart people without third parts?

Well, I think Bitcoin is for everyone, but not everyone will be interested in it or believe that bitcoin is good. Due to Bitcoin is actually a very broad topic.

So maybe what you said is true, that Bitcoin is not for everyone, although Bitcoin is not a choice, as long as we accept it, we will have bitcoin if we are interested in having it. However, we supposed to know first why it is significant now in this generation?
