Title: Connecting our device into public wifi is dangerous?
Post by: naturelover on Oct 03, 2026, 10:32 AM
Do you believe that when you connect your device to a public wifi, our devices will only be more at risk and we will only be closer to hackers or phishing links. Due to of course open for public meaning anyone can enter without us realizing that there are people who are just taking advantage.

And from my idea , any virus can come easily into our device if this is the scenario, that is why we must be vigilant at all cost here in this field of business isn't?

Making use of public WiFi is not safe, mostly when you are in an area where there are presence of tech savvy people, and possibly where cyber crimes occurs. There are places too where the free WiFi are used with the intentions of stealing or doing bad to those using it.

Anyone who is into any internet related activities that generates money or uses mobile banking applications should be very cautious of this. It can be a lead point to being hacked without knowing.

Nothing is free in this world. Everything which has advertised FREE always have a string attached to it. Most of the times we don't even realize what we are giving away.

When a product is free, it means you're the product. That's a mantra an old friend passed on to me. I'd rather stay offline than connect to a public Wi-Fi network.
