We want our community to pay attention to the Blue Verified badge.

WLC Approved Explanation
WLC Approved means that the available information has been reviewed and verified to a reasonable extent, but it does not necessarily mean that every aspect of the project has been thoroughly verified.

The escrow information may be publicly visible, but it can be difficult to track changes when the escrow provider does not follow a proper and consistent process for updating the fund status.

For example, consider MoBit. The escrow provider is Little Mouse, and the escrow information was posted as a post on their announcement (ANN) topic. If the escrow amount changes or the escrow deal is closed, the provider may simply post another update in the same ANN thread. However, forum posts can easily become buried over time, making important updates easy to miss. As a result, a customer may overlook a change and potentially fall into a trap.

Another example is PriamEx. Its escrow reference is much better structured: any changes to the escrow status can be easily identified in a dedicated escrow topic. However, it is still classified as Approved, rather than Verified. This means that, while the escrow information may be well documented, the other information related to the project has not yet been thoroughly verified.

Therefore, WLC Approved should not be interpreted as a guarantee that all information has been fully verified or that the project is completely safe. It indicates that the available information has undergone a preliminary level of verification, while some aspects may still require further review.

WLC Verified Explanation
WLC Verified means the status we place the greatest emphasis on. To earn the WLC Blue Verified badge, a project must meet two essential conditions designed to maximize user safety:

    1. All information is carefully verified.
The information provided by the project is thoroughly reviewed and verified, with the goal of ensuring that its accuracy is as close to 100% as reasonably possible.

    2. The guaranteed fund (escrow) is easily traceable.
The escrow fund must be independently and easily trackable. Customers should be able to check the latest status of the escrow fund through a dedicated topic maintained by the escrow holder. This minimizes the possibility of outdated or misleading information and gives users a reliable way to confirm the current escrow status.

For example, GenesisMix.cx is a WLC Verified listing because it satisfies both requirements:
  • Its escrow has a dedicated topic where users can easily check the latest updates and status of the escrow funds.
  • All information provided by GenesisMix has been carefully reviewed, checked, and verified by WLC.

The WLC Blue Verified badge therefore represents the highest level of verification within our system and is intended to provide users with an exceptional layer of confidence 💯 when taking service from a project.

WLC Verified vs. Ownership Verified
Please do not confuse the WLC Blue Verified badge with the Green Ownership Verified badge. These are two separate verification badges, and a project can hold both badges at the same time.

WLC Verified focuses primarily on the overall reliability of the project information and the traceability of its guaranteed funds (escrow). As explained above, a WLC Verified project must meet both requirements:
  • Its project information has been very carefully reviewed and verified.
  • Its guaranteed fund (escrow) is maintained in a transparent and easily traceable format, allowing users to check the latest status.

Ownership Verified, on the other hand, confirms that the actual owner of the project has been verified by WeLive Crypto. Ownership verification can also involve improved and verified project information, but it does not guarantee that the project has a solid or easily traceable escrow structure that meets the WLC Verified standard.

In simple terms:
Ownership Verified = We have verified the project ownership of the person behind the project.
Verified = The project information has been carefully  verified and its guaranteed funds (escrow) meet our traceability and transparency requirements.

Future Dispute Resolution
We also plan to introduce a dispute resolution system (DRS) on our platform in the future. Under this system, Ownership Verified projects will be expected to cooperate with WeLive Crypto in resolving disputes involving their projects.

This provides an additional layer of accountability: once a project owner has verified their ownership with us, they will have a direct responsibility to participate in resolving legitimate disputes raised through our platform.

Advertising Eligibility
Please note that WeLive Crypto also offers advertising opportunities. However, not every listing is eligible to advertise with us.

Only projects with Verified status are eligible for advertising on the WeLive Crypto platform. This policy is intentional: we want to maximize the visibility of legitimate and trusted projects while protecting our audience from potentially fraudulent or misleading projects.

By giving advertising priority to Verified projects, we aim to help build a stronger layer of protection within the industry, increase the visibility of legitimate projects, and ultimately contribute to reducing the overall scam rate.

We are inviting the community to help us add Exchanges and Mixers to the WeLive Crypto catalog. Ideally, the original project teams would add their own projects. However, as we are still building our database, we are opening this campaign to community contributions for a limited time. Once we have collected enough data, we will close the campaign.

Reward:

$2.00 per Approved listing, no limit. Payment per calendar month.

Rules:

- Project image must be clear and in appropriate shape.
- Check the project name before listing, we have front-end validation placed - duplicate listing will be rejected.

A third-party website code audit can help identify malicious or suspicious code, security vulnerabilities, and other potential security issues.

If your project has undergone an independent third-party source-code security audit that included malware and backdoor detection, malicious-code analysis, dependency analysis, vulnerability assessment, and web-application penetration testing, please let us know and share the audit details or report.

Meta / WLC Community rules
Aug 12, 2026, 03:48 PM
The one major rule
Be useful. Be honest. Respect privacy. Don't spam. Don't scam.

Our goal is to build a high-quality community for thoughtful discussion about cryptocurrency, privacy, security, decentralization, and related technology. We believe that, by working together, we can achieve this goal, create a safe and trusted environment for the crypto community. The following rules should help us maintaining a respectful and healthy community. We ask everyone to understand, respect, and follow them so that we can grow together. Suggestions and feedback are always welcome.

1. Add value to the discussion
Posts should contribute something useful: an informed question, original analysis, news with context, technical information, research, or a meaningful discussion. Avoid one-line posts such as "I agree," "Great project," or "To the moon" unless they genuinely contribute to the conversation.

2. Avoid Duplicate topic from other community
Please do not copy and repost topics from other communities. This is very important for keeping our forum original, useful, and free from repeated discussions. Report to moderator and moderators should immediately remove the copied topic.

If you find an interesting topic in another community that you would like to discuss here, please write your own short summary and include the URL to the original topic. This helps us avoid duplicate discussions, respect the original source, and keep our community focused on meaningful conversations.

Exceptions are allowed only on Announcement and service topics.

3. No Spam
Do not use the forum primarily to promote a website, product, token, referral code, or service. Repeated low-quality posts may be removed and the account may be restricted.

4. No unsolicited advertising
Advertising, promotional campaigns, referral links, affiliate links, token launches, and commercial services are not allowed unless explicitly permitted in the appropriate forum section. If promotional posts are allowed, clearly label them as promotional content such as: [ANN], [Signature], [Review], [Exchange] etc. No URL shorteners that require users to view an ad.

5. No scams or deceptive schemes
Scams, phishing, impersonation, fake giveaways, fraudulent investment opportunities, Ponzi/pyramid schemes, and deliberately misleading claims are prohibited. Do not ask users to send you cryptocurrency or private keys. No begging.

6. Respect privacy
Do not attempt to identify, track, deanonymize, dox, or expose another user. Discussions about privacy technology are welcome. Debate projects, technologies, protocols, policies, and ideas vigorously, but remain respectful toward other users. Targeting real people for exposure or harassment, personal attacks, threats, and targeted abuse are not acceptable.

7. Be transparent about financial interests
If you are promoting or discussing a project, token, company, protocol, or investment in which you have a financial interest, disclose that relationship.

8. Use appropriate categories and titles
Post in the correct section and use descriptive titles.

Good:
"How does CoinJoin improve transaction privacy?"

Poor:
"Question"

This makes discussions easier to find and keeps the forum organized.

9. Avoid low-effort AI-generated content
AI tools may be used to assist with research and writing, but users remain responsible for what they publish. Do not flood the forum with automatically generated articles, comments, summaries, or repetitive content that provides little original value.

10. No plagiarism
Do not present someone else's writing, research, code, or analysis as your own. Credit the original author and provide a source when sharing substantial material. Plagiarism is not allowed. Any user found intentionally plagiarizing may have their content removed and may be banned from the community.

11. Security discussions must be responsible
Security research, vulnerability analysis, privacy technology, and penetration-testing discussions are welcome when they are educational and responsible. Do not use the forum to distribute stolen credentials, personal data, malware, or instructions intended to harm others.

12. Keep discussions on-topic
Use the appropriate category and keep conversations reasonably related to the topic. Moderators may move posts to a more appropriate section. Moderators also may remove spam, scams, personal information, malicious content, duplicate posts, or other content that seriously harms the quality or safety of the community.

13. Don't abuse the reporting system
Do not mass-report posts simply because you disagree with someone's opinion. Use reports for genuine violations of the community rules.

14. MISC
- Do not make consecutive posts in the same topic within a 24-hour period.
- Bumping a topic within 24 hours is not allowed.
- Old or unnecessary bump posts should be removed.
- Do not make off-topic posts. Any posts that are unrelated to the topic will be removed.

15. When in doubt, ask
If you are unsure whether something is appropriate, contact the moderators before posting.

At WeLive Crypto, we consider user feedback an essential part of the user experience. We value and encourage genuine feedback based on real experiences with our platform. We encourage you to share your honest experience so that the entire community can benefit from it. If you are sharing a suggestion or opinion rather than a personal experience, please use the Neutral tag.

For feedback based on personal experiences, we may ask you to provide relevant evidence to help us verify the information and protect our community and system from any form of abuse.

A sample feedback display format: + 0 / =0 / -0
The green color represents number of positive feedback
The dark amber represents number of negative experience
The black in the middle represents number of neutral experience received for a project.

How can you help?
Whenever you suspect a feedback please immediately report the suspicious feedback. We will take necessary action.

When listing an exchange, you will be asked to provide Exchange-Specific Details. One of the required details is the Exchange Type.

WeLive Crypto supports the following exchange types:
  • DEX – Decentralized Exchange
  • P2P – Peer-to-Peer Exchange
  • IE – Instant Exchange
  • RCE – Regular Crypto Exchange. These exchanges are usually heavily regulated by the relevant authorities.
  • AS – Atomic Swap Exchange
  • Aggregator – Exchange Aggregator, which brings together offers or trading options from multiple exchanges.
#14
For Mixers and Exchanges, having a Letter of Guarantee (LoG) feature is a good way to provide digital proof of a trade. If there is an issue or an unexpected problem with a transaction, the LoG can help identify if the trade indeed happened or not. A LoG usually contains information about the deposit and withdrawal, including the value of the assets involved.

A LoG can usually be verified by anyone online, as long as they have access to the project's public key.

At WeLive Crypto, if a project supports a verifiable LoG feature, we ask the listing owner to provide either the Bitcoin address or the PGP public key used to verify the LoG. This allows our users to check the authenticity of the LoG they receive when they initiate a trade.

Help & Support / How to Get a Good WLC Score
May 10, 2026, 03:10 PM
A good WLC score is very important for a project. The highest possible WLC score is 10, but it can also go into negative numbers.

The WLC score is based on the project's overall Reputation Score and Privacy Score. The highest possible score for both Reputation and Privacy is 10, and both scores can also become negative.

Factors That Affect the Reputation Score

Project Age: A project that has been operating for five years has a massive advantage over a project that launched recently.
Community Presence: Being active in crypto communities can improve the overall reputation score. Projects with multiple active communities have an advantage over projects with only one or no active community.
Guarantee Fund: A project that offers security for its users, such as escrow with a trusted member or community, can achieve a better reputation score than a project with no protection funds for customers. For newly launched projects, a guarantee fund can help to build a positive reputation more quickly, even compared to older projects. It is common sense that a project with $100,000 escrow secured with the community is not going to scam their customer to risk losing the $100,000 they deposited.
Own Liquidity/Bankroll: A service with its own liquidity or bankroll has a higher reputation score than a service without its own reserve funds. Having a reserve helps customers trust the business and its services more.
Code Audited by Third Party: Having the application code audited by a trusted third party can slightly improve a project's reputation. Open and audited code helps show that nothing suspicious is happening without the customers' knowledge.
List Status Scoring: If a project is identified as a "Scam," its reputation score will become negative. We strongly advise avoiding any "Scam" project. On the other hand, "Approved" and "Verified" status can add reputation points, which helps improve the overall WLC score. We always recommend project teams to Verify their project with us.
Potential Risk A project marked as "Potential Risk" may also receive negative reputation points. In some cases, if the risk is very low or almost negligible, the system may not reduce the overall reputation score.
Feedback: Positive feedback can quickly increase your reputation score. Neutral feedback also increases it, but at a slower rate. Negative feedback, however, can significantly lower your overall reputation score. We advise all project teams to treat customers fairly.
Good Customer Support Average Rating: A service that has recovered and maintains a 5-star customer support rating has a higher reputation score than a service with no customer support rating.
Ownership verified: We encourage project owners to complete "Ownership Verification" to earn additional reputation points from the system. A project with "Ownership Verification" means the project owner is always in communication with us and for any dispute or issue, the community will receive quick response from the management.

Factors That Affect the Privacy Score

KYC INFORMATION: A business with zero care about KYC (KYC 0/4) means they value the privacy of their customers. We have utmost respect for them and they earn enough privacy score where a business with KYC 3/4 shows poor privacy score. In other words, the less KYC information a business requires, the higher its privacy score. Conversely, the more KYC information required, the lower its privacy score.
Letter of Guarantee: If a business provides a Letter of Guarantee that can be verified cryptographically or digitally without requiring trust in any individual or institution, it earns a higher privacy score.
Tor/Onion: Businesses that provide access through the Tor network (.onion address) earn a higher privacy score, as Tor helps protect users' network identity and reduces metadata exposure.
No Registration Policy: usinesses that allow customers to access or purchase services without creating an account or providing personal information earn a higher privacy score.
No Log Policy: Businesses that do not collect, store, or retain identifiable user activity logs earn a higher privacy score.
Have XMR: An exchange with XMR support earn additional privacy score in WLC.

MISC

Reputation and privacy are scored separately. A legally registered business can receive a higher reputation score, but it may receive a lower privacy score because laws or regulations may require it to collect or share customer information.

Phone numbers affect privacy. Requiring a phone number lowers a business's privacy score because a phone number can be used to identify and track a person over time.

About WeLive CRYPTO / OWN LIQUIDITY Explained
May 10, 2026, 02:28 PM
A project may or may not want to show its reserve publicly, but we believe every project should have some reserve funds. The reserve can start from $50,000 and can be any higher amount.

To show a reserve on our platform, the project administrator must have at least $50,000 in reserve and provide digital proof to us. After we verify the proof, the project's OWN LIQUIDITY section can display the amount they choose to share with the community.

The displayed amount cannot be more than the project's actual verified reserve.
#18
This feature is very useful when a project administrator lists a project with WeLive CRYPTO. A project with Ownership Verified receives a significant boost in its WLC Score.

In the future, this verification process will be automated. For now, to get the status, the project administrator must contact us and provide the verification code given during the listing process. (You can choose to skip the Ownership Verified feature. However, we strongly recommend completing it, as it helps improve your WLC Score.)

To protect privacy, we use XMPP for communication. If you are not familiar with this messaging system, please refer to the related topic for more information: Set up XMPP contact for OWNERSHIP VERIFIED status

About WeLive CRYPTO / Project Status Details
May 06, 2026, 07:08 PM
WeLive Crypto listings have five different status types, and there is also a "Potential risk" warning feature.

Five main statuses

Pending
The project is being reviewed. When enough people from the WLC community request approval, we will check the information carefully and then decide whether to approve it. A project with Pending status is not shown on the catalog page, but you can still view its details on the specific project details page.

Rejected
The project has been reviewed but does not meet the approval requirements. It cannot move forward in its current state. Feedback may be given when available, and the project can be submitted again after the issues are fixed. A project with Rejected status is not shown on the catalog page, but you can still view its details on the specific project details page.

Approved
The project has passed the first review based on community requests. It meets our approval rules, but we do not guarantee that all the information is completely accurate. Further checks may be done if there is enough interest from the community. A project with Approved status appears on the catalog page with a green circle and a check mark.

The Blue Verified Badge
The project has been carefully reviewed, and the important information has been checked to make sure it is accurate and reliable. If you see any incorrect details, please report them to us so we can review and update them quickly. A project with the Blue Verified Badge status appears on the catalog page with a blue scalloped circle with a checkmark in the center. Read how to obtain The Blue Verified badge.

Scam
We work closely with many members of the crypto community and monitor all listed projects. If we find confirmed serious scam allegations against a project that raise major concerns about its legitimacy and security, we strongly advise not using it, as it may put your personal and financial information at risk. In such cases, the project is marked with Scam status. A project with Scam status is shown on the catalog page with a red warning icon next to its name.

Archive
A project may be assigned Archived status when it is no longer actively operating or conducting business for any reason.

Additional warning feature

Potential Risk
Seeing a Potential Risk message on a project's details page means our sources have found several warning signs. These may be minor or possibly false alarms, but they should still be checked carefully. Since there may be risks, we strongly recommend being very careful before using the service and product of the project. Depending on how serious the risks are, this warning may or may not affect the overall WLC Score created by our system.
#20
A project that has a Guaranteed Fund (Escrow) is usually lower risk because your money is protected. If there is a problem with the trade, you can dispute it and have a fair chance of getting your money back. A Guaranteed Fund (Escrow) is an accepted form of protection for buyers and sellers. WLC have 4 types of GUARANTEE FUND badge.

Escrow under $10k
Escrow between $10k to $20k
Escrow above $20 to $50k
Escrow above $50k

Larger amount of GUARANTEE FUND ensures better reputation score.

Conditions to receive GUARANTEE FUND badge:
  • Require a dedicated topic on either Bitcointalk, Altcoinstalks, or on the WLC community. The guarantor must update the balance regularly whenever there is any change of fund.
    • In the case of no dedicated topic, the escrow address must be visible so that the amount can be verifiable using block-explorer. Please note that, in this case, the Blue Verified Badge cannot be earned. We encourage you to read more about the importance and benefits of the badge.
  • The guarantor should be a trusted and well-known.
  • The guarantor must provide their Bitcoin address or PGP public key
  • The guarantor must include a digital signature from the guarantor
  • Dispute terms should be clearly explained
