It depends on the reader, not all readers are like you, think about it if the source links I put there were included in the posting here, do you think it would be easier for newbies to understand the meaning of Bitcoin or blockchain technology?

I am not the guy who can explain Bitcoin in technical terms. I cannot tell you how the consensus algorithm works or what a UTXO is and I do not care to learn. But I know exactly what it gave me: the ability to move my own money without asking anyone for permission. No bank manager deciding if I am "trustworthy" enough, no 3 AM freeze notice, no wire transfer that takes five days and costs thirty bucks just because some clerk in a back office felt like it. That is it. That is the whole pitch. The tech underneath is impressive, sure, but the reason I am here is simpler than all of it. I want my money where I can actually reach it.

That's actually one of the reasons Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin. This is so that we can have full control over this asset. Take it wherever we want without having to wait long and we can send it to any country as long as there is internet.

This is the most basic usage of Bitcoin and until now this is still what communities who believe in bitcoin and even merchants who accept bitcoin as a mode of payment usually do.

The control of funds is a key feature of Bitcoin, but its disruptive power lies in its decentralisation, which also ensures that the system is immune to interference from government bodies
