The great democracy of Bitcoin

Bitcoin is a tool of absolute democracy; indeed, if we consider derivatives and leveraged derivatives on Bitcoin, we know that as long as the price holds up, we are liquidated at a profit, but if everyone sells, we are liquidated as the price crashes.
In contrast, with derivatives and futures on fiat currency, if there is strong selling pressure, debt-based money is created to settle the positions, and this is then passed on to consumers. It's a capitalist system where the person at the back of the queue always loses out.

What do you think?

My understanding of bitcoin is that it is a type of decentralized based system, and most people know very well that no central government authority can control it.

That means the concepts of Democratic and Decentralized are different, they are not the same. So it seems like your point here doesn't get through the example you gave about the actual trade through futures or derivatives.

I think you've put your finger on something important here, and I don't fully agree with the first reply that tried to split hairs over definitions.

The thing is, democracy in the raw sense just means everyone plays by the same rules. And with Bitcoin, that's exactly what happens. There is no back room where a committee decides who gets saved and who gets liquidated. If you're over-leveraged, you get liquidated. Period. Same rule for a whale with a thousand BTC and a guy with 0.01 BTC. That's not a flaw, that's the entire point.

The fiat comparison is where it gets really clear. When there's selling pressure in a derivatives market backed by debt-based money, the system doesn't let people eat the losses. It creates more money to settle the positions, and the cost flows downstream to everyone holding the currency. The person at the back of the queue the saver, the retiree, the person who didn't touch leverage they're the ones who pay. That's not democracy, that's a rigged game where the house always wins and everyone else chips in.

Bitcoin flips that. No bailouts, no money printing, no backroom settlements. If you mess up, you eat it. And in a weird way that makes the whole system more honest, because the price you see is the price people are actually willing to risk, not one propped up by central bank balance sheets.

The counter-argument that Bitcoin is decentralized but not democratic misses the point. Decentralization IS the democratic part. When no single entity controls the rules, everyone is subject to them equally. That's more democratic than most governments manage.

What do you think about the Lightning Network angle? It feels like the same principle playing out at a different scale permissionless, trust-minimized, no intermediaries deciding who gets to route payments.

Bitcoin is complete liberation and independence from the banking system and control of one's finances

Oh man, your answer is made by AI  ;D  ;D

however, that the democratisation of Bitcoin enables a first rate distribution of wealth and certainly offers an opportunity to everyone, without distinction or exclusion.

You know I'm not against what you said here bro, you have a point in what you've mentioned. It's just that as our companion mentioned here, the average of your post was AI generated.

According to the AI detector I used, the average of your post being AI generated is high, so if you can revise your post do it at once, instead make it a natural post sir, due to it is against the rules of the forum.
