[Reputation]

A good WLC score is very important for a project. The highest possible WLC score is 10, but it can also go into negative numbers.

The WLC score is based on the project's overall Reputation Score and Privacy Score. The highest possible score for both Reputation and Privacy is 10, and both scores can also become negative.

Factors That Affect the Reputation Score
Project Age: A project that has been operating for five years has a massive advantage over a project that launched recently.
Community Presence: Being active in crypto communities can improve the overall reputation score. Projects with multiple active communities have an advantage over projects with only one or no active community.
Guarantee Fund: A project that offers security for its users, such as escrow with a trusted member or community, can achieve a better reputation score than a project with no protection funds for customers. For newly launched projects, a guarantee fund can help to build a positive reputation more quickly, even compared to older projects. It is common sense that a project with $100,000 escrow secured with the community is not going to scam their customer to risk losing the $100,000 they deposited.
Own Liquidity/Bankroll: A service with its own liquidity or bankroll has a higher reputation score than a service without its own reserve funds. Having a reserve helps customers trust the business and its services more.
Code Audited by Third Party: Having the application code audited by a trusted third party can slightly improve a project's reputation. Open and audited code helps show that nothing suspicious is happening without the customers' knowledge.
List Status Scoring: If a project is identified as a "Scam," its reputation score will become negative. We strongly advise avoiding any "Scam" project. On the other hand, "Approved" and "Verified" status can add reputation points, which helps improve the overall WLC score. We always recommend project teams to Verify their project with us.
Potential Risk A project marked as "Potential Risk" may also receive negative reputation points. In some cases, if the risk is very low or almost negligible, the system may not reduce the overall reputation score.
Feedback: Positive feedback can quickly increase your reputation score. Neutral feedback also increases it, but at a slower rate. Negative feedback, however, can significantly lower your overall reputation score. We advise all project teams to treat customers fairly.
Good Customer Support Average Rating: A service that has recovered and maintains a 5-star customer support rating has a higher reputation score than a service with no customer support rating.
Ownership verified: We encourage project owners to complete "Ownership Verification" to earn additional reputation points from the system. A project with "Ownership Verification" means the project owner is always in communication with us and for any dispute or issue, the community will receive quick response from the management.

Factors That Affect the Privacy Score
KYC INFORMATION: A business with zero care about KYC (KYC 0/4) means they value the privacy of their customers. We have utmost respect for them and they earn enough privacy score where a business with KYC 3/4 shows poor privacy score. In other words, the less KYC information a business requires, the higher its privacy score. Conversely, the more KYC information required, the lower its privacy score.
Letter of Guarantee: If a business provides a Letter of Guarantee that can be verified cryptographically or digitally without requiring trust in any individual or institution, it earns a higher privacy score.
Tor/Onion: Businesses that provide access through the Tor network (.onion address) earn a higher privacy score, as Tor helps protect users' network identity and reduces metadata exposure.
No Registration Policy: usinesses that allow customers to access or purchase services without creating an account or providing personal information earn a higher privacy score.
No Log Policy: Businesses that do not collect, store, or retain identifiable user activity logs earn a higher privacy score.
Have XMR: An exchange with XMR support earn additional privacy score in WLC.


MISC
Reputation and privacy are scored separately. A legally registered business can receive a higher reputation score, but it may receive a lower privacy score because laws or regulations may require it to collect or share customer information.

Phone numbers affect privacy. Requiring a phone number lowers a business's privacy score because a phone number can be used to identify and track a person over time.

A project may or may not want to show its reserve publicly, but we believe every project should have some reserve funds. The reserve can start from $50,000 and can be any higher amount.

To show a reserve on our platform, the project administrator must have at least $50,000 in reserve and provide digital proof to us. After we verify the proof, the project's OWN LIQUIDITY section can display the amount they choose to share with the community.

The displayed amount cannot be more than the project's actual verified reserve.

[Ownership Verified]

This feature is very useful when a project administrator lists a project with WeLive CRYPTO. A project with Ownership Verified receives a significant boost in its WLC Score.

In the future, this verification process will be automated. For now, to get the status, the project administrator must contact us and provide the verification code given during the listing process. (You can choose to skip the Ownership Verified feature. However, we strongly recommend completing it, as it helps improve your WLC Score.)

[Pending]

WeLive Crypto listings have five different status types, and there is also a "Potential risk" warning feature.

Five main statuses
Pending
The project is being reviewed. When enough people from the WLC community request approval, we will check the information carefully and then decide whether to approve it. A project with Pending status can be seen on the catalog page.

Rejected
The project has been reviewed but does not meet the approval requirements. It cannot move forward in its current state. Feedback may be given when available, and the project can be submitted again after the issues are fixed. A project with Rejected status is not shown on the catalog page, but you can still view its details on the specific project details page.

Approved
The project has passed the first review based on community requests. It meets our approval rules, but we do not guarantee that all the information is completely accurate. Further checks may be done if there is enough interest from the community. A project with Approved status appears on the catalog page with a green circle and a check mark.

Verified
The project has been carefully reviewed, and the important information has been checked to make sure it is accurate and reliable. If you see any incorrect details, please report them to us so we can review and update them quickly. A project with Verified status appears on the catalog page with a blue zigzag circle and a check mark.

Scam
We work closely with many members of the crypto community and monitor all listed projects. If we find confirmed serious scam allegations against a project that raise major concerns about its legitimacy and security, we strongly advise not using it, as it may put your personal and financial information at risk. In such cases, the project is marked with Scam status. A project with Scam status is shown on the catalog page with a red warning icon next to its name.

Additional warning feature
Potential Risk
Seeing a Potential Risk message on a project's details page means our sources have found several warning signs. These may be minor or possibly false alarms, but they should still be checked carefully. Since there may be risks, we strongly recommend being very careful before using the service and product of the project. Depending on how serious the risks are, this warning may or may not affect the overall WLC Score created by our system.

A project that claims to have a Guaranteed (Escrow) Fund to secure its service must include a digital signature from the guarantor. The terms of how disputes will be handled should be clearly explained. The guarantor must also provide their Bitcoin address or PGP public key so the signed message can be verified. The guarantor should be a trusted and well-known member of the cryptocurrency community, such as from Bitcointalk, Altcoinstalks, or the WLC community.

KYC 0/4 (Guaranteed No KYC)
No KYC guaranteed PERIOD. If a business listed on WeLive CRYPTO is marked as KYC 0/4 (Guaranteed No KYC) but still asks you for KYC, please report it. We will label that business as a potential risk.

KYC 1/4
There is no mention of KYC in the business terms. A business listed on WeLive CRYPTO may or may not ask for KYC.

KYC 2/4
A business listed on WeLive CRYPTO with "KYC 2/4" may ask for KYC if authorities request it for an investigation. This usually means they won't ask for KYC unless there is a red flag in your financial transactions.

KYC 3/4
A business listed on WeLive CRYPTO with "KYC 3/4" has a strict KYC policy. You must complete KYC to use its features, otherwise your funds may be blocked.
