Quote from: naturelover on Oct 14, 2026, 02:44 PMIt really depends on who holds the bitcoin and where he wants to put it in the wallet. Now, if it's Electrum, for me it's fine and it's even safer to use due to  if it's offline it's not close to the risk but far from the risk.

And many people use electrum and I also think that apart from electrum, the cake wallet is also good to use if I compare it to other wallets according to my experience.

I agree, in my view, all those wallets that allow full control over your keys and the addition of a passphrase are preferable to third-party hardware wallets. It seems that everything can be compromised these days.

Stablecoins are essential for getting out of daily trades and actually keeping the gains you make. Without them, all that profit just rides volatile pumps and dumps.

Honestly, I'd skip the KYC-heavy CEXs and just use a DEX. Way more privacy and you are not handing over your personal info for some exchange to hold.

All crypto have a chance to explode in value in the future, but no one can see what is coming.

Look, I'm Italian too, of course for all of us it's annoying that we missed 3 World Cup qualifications in a row but we also have to be realistic: in the past years we were playing with a lot of mediocre players leaving out some very promising youngster; now Mancini is calling all these young guys and we can see that the team is changing and improving.
Of course we still have a long way to go but we have some very promising players. We can actually be confident for the future.

And we'll also see what happens with the Tresoldi situation: in my opinion at the end he'll choose Germany but if for whatever reason he chooses Italy... Well, Esposito + Tresoldi would be a very interesting attack.

Quote from: Jumpman on Oct 04, 2026, 07:14 PMNothing is free in this world. Everything which has advertised FREE always have a string attached to it. Most of the times we don't even realize what we are giving away.

You really raised a strong point here in this case. And, mate, believe me, the majority of people don't even understand the nuance of this matter, like how much it can be a risky to connect free public Wi-Fi to your devices. More espacially if you are a crypto user.

You know why is that so? This is because many people around us are not much educated about this or have no knowledge. This is why they start connecting their devices to public wifi by easily trusting it. We need to pay attention on such things more for our own safty.

  • Italy make a fool of themselves as usual,
I think you're being too harsh against Italy: it was the first match with the new (old) manager, there were a lot of new players, you style of play, and the match against Belgium was basically ruined by a single mistake made by a 20-year-old player during his international debut. The other results have been absolutely great because I'm sure everybody was expecting France to score at least 3-4 goals.

Maybe he was just frustrated only that's why he said that, it could be like that. Maybe he didn't see the performance he expected from the Italian team, I'm just not sure if that's really the case.

But anyway, the event remain good to watch, it's just that the team I expected didn't give a good result in the end, but its fine the next time they will fight again they will win I guess.

Alternate Cryptocurrencies / Re: LTC vs HYPE
Last post by naturelover - Oct 18, 2026, 01:36 PM
Quote from: ferrddy on Oct 17, 2026, 07:13 PMI pick LTC, but honestly it is mostly a coin I already had and felt comfortable with. HYPE I have heard the name and seen the ticker, but I cannot tell you what it actually does beyond that. Maybe it is great, maybe it is not, I just have never spent the time to look. With LTC I at least know the history, I know people have used it to send money for years, and that is enough for me. If HYPE turns out to be the better play, fine, I am not losing sleep over it. I am not here to be right about every coin, I am here because crypto gave me options and LTC was the one I understood.

Actually, they are both okay, so if we base it on which one is more reliable, if you ask me, I would choose LTC, due to it has been tested and can be considered stable.

though it go up slow, but the effort we will put in waiting here will not be wasted if we hold onto LTC in the long term.
