Do you believe that when you connect your device to a public wifi, our devices will only be more at risk and we will only be closer to hackers or phishing links. Due to of course open for public meaning anyone can enter without us realizing that there are people who are just taking advantage.

And from my idea , any virus can come easily into our device if this is the scenario, that is why we must be vigilant at all cost here in this field of business isn't?

Making use of public WiFi is not safe, mostly when you are in an area where there are presence of tech savvy people, and possibly where cyber crimes occurs. There are places too where the free WiFi are used with the intentions of stealing or doing bad to those using it.

Anyone who is into any internet related activities that generates money or uses mobile banking applications should be very cautious of this. It can be a lead point to being hacked without knowing.

Nothing is free in this world. Everything which has advertised FREE always have a string attached to it. Most of the times we don't even realize what we are giving away.

When a product is free, it means you're the product. That's a mantra an old friend passed on to me. I'd rather stay offline than connect to a public Wi-Fi network.

What you said is very good, Sir, and it is also true because we ourselves will be the product when we connect to public wi-fi, as if the public wifi is the one that catches the fish, then those who connect or bite the bait (public-wifi) will put us in danger.

Meaning, we will be taken advantage of by hackers or scammers who are good at these schemes, in reality.

Obviously, using public Wi-Fi for anything other than watching videos on YouTube or Netflix is extremely dangerous; any password you type immediately becomes public knowledge.

As long as public-wifi is correct, what you mentioned is that, that's why the personal wifi or internet plan
we use is different due to only we can use it because it's private.

Before I didn't know, I often connected to free wifi at the mall, and I was very happy at that time,
but when I found out that this was very risky, I no longer connected to it.

You really raised a strong point here in this case. And, mate, believe me, the majority of people don't even understand the nuance of this matter, like how much it can be a risky to connect free public Wi-Fi to your devices. More espacially if you are a crypto user.

You know why is that so? This is because many people around us are not much educated about this or have no knowledge. This is why they start connecting their devices to public wifi by easily trusting it. We need to pay attention on such things more for our own safty.

I completely agree with what you said, there are still many people today who don't really understand or know the risk that there are public wifi that is free when communities connect to it.

But what I don't understand is whether the government also knows this, due to aren't there other countries that provide free public wifi in places where communities are, like when you are at the airport there is free wifi, do you think the government or private companies also put people who connect to their free public wifi at risk? I just thought that's why I asked this question.

Connecting from a public wi-fi is extremely dangerous: first of all, the history of all searches and visits to sites remains public, then worse, every password typed remains visible
