A project that has a Guaranteed Fund (Escrow) is usually lower risk because your money is protected. If there is a problem with the trade, you can dispute it and have a fair chance of getting your money back. A Guaranteed Fund (Escrow) is an accepted form of protection for buyers and sellers. WLC have 4 types of GUARANTEE FUND badge.

Escrow under $10k
Escrow between $10k to $20k
Escrow above $20 to $50k
Escrow above $50k

Larger amount of GUARANTEE FUND ensures better reputation score.

Conditions to receive GUARANTEE FUND badge:
  • Require a dedicated topic on either Bitcointalk, Altcoinstalks, or on the WLC community. The guarantor must update the balance regularly whenever there is any change of fund.
    • In the case of no dedicated topic, the escrow address must be visible so that the amount can be verifiable using block-explorer
  • The guarantor should be a trusted and well-known.
  • The guarantor must provide their Bitcoin address or PGP public key
  • The guarantor must include a digital signature from the guarantor
  • Dispute terms should be clearly explained
